Typo3
Typo3 is one of the most flexible content management systems (CMS) available as open source software. Thanks to numerous existing extensions and the option of adding your own extensions, as well as the simple and flexible installation of multilingual websites (including those with Cyrillic, Arabic or Chinese character sets), Typo3 is a widely used CMS.
A few more advantages:
- Manage many websites with a single Typo3 installation
- Simple installation of extensions with just a few clicks
- enormously flexible design options
- Various editor roles
- Personalization for website visitors possible
- Simple workflow function
The costs
As open source software, Typo3 can be used free of charge. However, the configuration takes time. Either you are already familiar with Typo3 and do it yourself, or you invest a few weeks in learning the system (configuration), or you hire Typo3 professionals to set it up. In the latter case, experience has shown that the costs start at around 2,500 euros (basic package with a simple template and configuration of only a few extensions, training). Of course, there is no upper limit, because Typo3 is such a powerful framework that it can be used to fulfill a wide range of functions.
