Pictures simply make a website more attractive. Be it photos of happy people, beautiful landscapes, flowers, photos of purchasable products, your own children, pets or the club model railroad. At least in the latter cases, you will probably press the shutter button yourself, but where do you get the professional photos that can be placed on the websites as \u201esubject photos\u201c?<\/p>\n

Many people simply use Google to search for images. Enter the search term, browse through the search results and add the desired image to your own website. It's that easy?<\/p>\n

Stop, very bad idea!<\/strong> Just because the image has been published on a website does not mean that you are allowed to publish it again yourself. After all, images are subject to copyright and usage rights and only special licenses allow them to be used. If you don't take this to heart, you can expect high legal fees.<\/p>\n

But there are now a considerable number of platforms that offer a very inexpensive way to get good photos, or even free of charge.<\/p>\n

But beware: most \u201efree\u201c uses only apply to non-commercial websites. Therefore, please always read the respective terms of use very carefully.<\/p>\n
