Tip: Restrict Google search to one website

It's a familiar situation: you search for information on a specific device from a manufacturer and find countless links to various auction houses. You know that the information you are looking for can be found at the appliance manufacturer's site, but the search option there doesn't really want to work.

Remedy

The example searches for the appliance (refrigerator model „4711 GTI“), specifying the website to be searched:

refrigerator 4711 gti site:www.herstellername.de

What happens here: You are looking for the 4711 GTI refrigerator, but with the help of „site:......“ only limited to the manufacturer's website. Of course, instead of www.herstellername.de enter the correct name of the manufacturer's website.
